Across Cradley Heath, we start by measuring the actual opening, not a photo and the frameless glass shopfronts are then made to those dimensions.
Local planning
In Cradley Heath, applications go to Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but anything that alters the look of the street usually needs consent. The survey confirms which rules apply.
Costs
Budget from £4,200 plus VAT as a starting point. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Your price is held for 90 days.
How long it takes
Manufacture usually takes 4-5 weeks after drawing sign-off. Installation in Cradley Heath is usually a day or two once everything is made. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
Specification notes
Frameless glass removes nearly every vertical line from the elevation, which is why it suits showrooms, jewellers and flagship units. Popular choices include 12mm or 15mm toughened glass; patch fittings or channel-glazed top and bottom.
