Timescales
Allow 3-4 weeks after drawing sign-off from drawings to delivery. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
The product
Aluminium is the default for high-street retail because the sections stay slim, the powder coat can match any brand colour, and the frame will not rot, swell or warp. Common specifications: any RAL colour, including dual-colour frames; toughened or laminated safety glass to BS EN 12150 / 14449.
Our Derbyshire area
We treat Buxton as part of our Derbyshire round across the SK postcode district, so the team is regularly nearby in Ilkeston, Glossop and Derby.
Local planning
Planning in Buxton goes through High Peak Borough Council. A straight replacement is normally permitted, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
