The product
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. Popular choices include laminated glass options for attack resistance; crittall-style glazing bar patterns.
Our West Midlands area
Our West Bromwich jobs sit within West Midlands and the B postcode area, with regular work in neighbouring Darlaston, Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
Do you need consent?
The local planning authority for West Bromwich is Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. A straight replacement is normally permitted, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. You will know before you order.
FAQs
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of West Midlands?
Yes. We cover West Bromwich and the rest of West Midlands, including Darlaston, Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
