For businesses in Newport, we start by measuring the actual opening, not a photo so the steel shopfronts arrive made to fit.
Costs
Guide price: from £3,600 plus VAT for a standard opening. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
Timescales
Expect 5-6 weeks after drawing sign-off for manufacture. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
Specification notes
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. You can specify pairs well with a roller shutter for two layers of delay; slim steel sections with high impact resistance.
Coverage
Newport is in Shropshire and the TF postcode area, which puts it on the same route as Ludlow, Market Drayton and Telford.
Do you need consent?
Planning in Newport goes through Telford & Wrekin Council. A straight replacement is normally permitted, but anything that alters the look of the street usually needs consent. The survey confirms which rules apply.
